Bryn is a Welshman, born in Cardiff and a History graduate of Birmingham University with a Certificate in Education from Cambridge University. His History teaching experience began in Salisbury, England and continued at St. George's British International School in Rome, combined with College Counselling at Marymount International School in Rome.

Bryn has extensive experience of walking tours, field trips and cycling excursions throughout Italy. He has also organised group visits to colleges in the USA and UK. His published articles have included "The Michelangelo Trail", "The Garibaldi Retreat of 1849" and "Cycling down The Appia, Rome to Brindisi".

There are printed pamphlets available for each walking tour, and visits outside Rome can also be arranged.

Bryn's interests include travelling, sport, cycling and his family. He has a Norwegian wife and four children.
